Shared Location Calendar
A Google Calendar add-on by Maxwell Marshall
Share where you are. Share when you're free.
Nothing else.

What it does
Shared Location Calendar creates a calendar you can share with friends
that shows two things:
📍 Your location — the city you're in, updated daily
🔒 Your availability — merged busy blocks with no event details
That's it. No event titles. No descriptions. No attendee names.
Just "New York, NY" and "Busy 2:00–4:00pm."
────────────────────────────────────────────
How it works
1. Install the add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace
2. Choose which of your calendars to include
3. Review and confirm your location for the next 90 days
4. Share your personal calendar link with friends
Friends subscribe to your calendar and see exactly when you're
available and roughly where in the world you are — nothing more.
Your calendar updates automatically every 3 hours.

Your privacy is the point
Most calendar sharing tools share too much. A meeting called
"Doctor's appointment" or "Interview at Google" tells people
things you may not want them to know.
Shared Location Calendar was built on a simple principle: your
friends should be able to find a time to see you and know what
city you're in — without knowing anything else about your life.
